| Westport is on the West coast of Ireland, roughly midway. How to get to the Glasshouse from Westport. Leave Westport town going towards the Quay and Westport House. The road goes first up then down the Quay Hill, with the high stone wall marking the perimeter of Westport House on the right. Bear left with the road at the bottom, where you can see the water, and go on past the Atlantic Coast Hotel on your left and the Towers Pub on your right. Pass The Quays Pub on the right and 100 yards later you turn left (by the buses) and immediately right where it is sign posted 'The Glasshouse', down a small road. Turn right again and you have arrived. Maps are below. |
